Zunzún

comes from the Latin frutus, meaning liveliness, profit. Some classify them in sweet ones ( banana, papaya, melon...), acid ones (guava , orange, pineapple), semi acid ones (mango, peanut, tomatoes) and neutral ones (avocado, almond, coconut...).

Salty peanuts are sold in a paper cone in most parts of Cuba, but there are another cone in Baracoa, Guantanamo province, in the eastern part of the island. It is made of the hard part of the palm tree´s leave, and it has the form of a larger cone. It is used to serve coconut dessert, sometimes mixed up with guava or papaya. Delicious!
